Born in Denmark in 1962, Lisbeth Lynghøft trained as an actress in New York and Copenhagen before pursuing a career in Sweden. Upon returning to Copenhagen, she founded and directed the Teatret Bag Døren for five years. Then in 1999, Lynghøft directed the second film produced by feminist porn company, Puzzy Power. Pink Prison, as it was called, was shown in the mainstream film festivals in Stockhold amd Rotterdam before winning the Venus Award for Best Scandinavian Film in Berlin. Her film is still considered one of the top feminist porn films of all time.
